California's Certified Nurse Assistant Program

(CNAP)

Start the New Year Right! The Certified Nurse Assistant Program (CNAP) is a multi-faceted effort to increase the number of Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in California. CNAP offers valuable resources, including:

  • Financial awards for skilled nursing facility employers to help strengthen and support their existing nurse assistant training programs. This creates a sustainable employee pipeline that fosters higher CNA retention.

  • A free job board where employers can post CNA job openings. Both current CNAs and those aspiring to become CNAs can get paid to "earn and learn" and they can also post their resumes.
